Radio Documentaries

This group of youth participants worked on a number of Earth Matters projects from October to December 2000, including: The Fruit Tree Mapping Project, and the Cottonwood Falls Sustainability Centre, as well as other community development initiatives. Activities include picking and distributing fruit, constructing a root cellar using alternative building techniques, enhancing wildlife habitats, providing community outreach and education, and more. In addition, they also received training and experiential learning opportunities in a range of areas, from Occupational First Aid to Canning Techniques to Consensus Decision Making

# Apples and Oranges - this is a show about gender issues. The objective of the show is to increase awareness around the stereotypes and generalizations that we make about gender.

# Earth Matters and Education - this program addresses some of the concerns people have about the public education system. It also links Earth Matters and it's intent on filling some of the gaps.

# The Arrow Lakes People, Past, Present and Future - This program was about the Sinixt Nation, the aboriginal peoples of the Kootenays. It was developed with the full co-operation of Sinixt representives, and addresses many of their issues, including the fact that they are legally an extinct people.
